So cute! Thanks for continuing the updates! I am thrilled that you adopted both Scamp (Simon is a perfect name)and Miss Middie (River is a beautiful name for her). River will become much more vocal with time, I have no doubt! She learned to wait in the cat room, although she would often be so insistent that one of us would drape her over a shoulder just to assure her that, yes, we had heard her. She didn't want to stay long, just long enough to knead her paws and purr. She never did the lap before you guys, though. She is a precious girl; I'm so excited to continue watching as she settles into her forever home. I'm a little surprised to hear she's being shy around food. As you can tell from her jiggly belly, she didn't miss any meals at the orphanage. :-)
