Usually River is the one who gets so interested in boxes we leave out. This time Simon jumped into the box from Sarah's mom (full of Easter goodies!!).
Shauna, at one point, we had 9 cats in the house. I was taking them all to get their rabies vaccines; and rather than chase them down and wrestle them into the borrowed cat carreirs (they were cardboard boxes with handles that poked through the tops), I merely opened all nine boxes in the living room, and within about 20 minutes, I managed to catch 5 or 6. Every time another cat jumped into a box, I quickly closed the lid and locked the handles. It was so much more efficient (and fun!) to let them capture themselves.
